Tips, corrections and advertising
Three doors, one desk. A consultation opening, a code quietly revised, a safety alert, an enforcement outcome your regulator published, a dataset doing something odd, a figure we got wrong, or a business conversation: all of it lands with the people who run this masthead. For tips and corrections your name and email are optional; what helps most is somewhere we can verify the claim.
Send a news tip
Point us at the document. A regulator notice, an amendment, a standards draft open for comment, a licensing change, a data release. Nothing runs from a tip alone: we verify everything against primary sources first, and your identity stays out of it unless you offer it.
Request a correction
Our promise is that every claim links its source, so hold us to it. Tell us what is wrong and, if you can, where the right answer lives. We check every correction against the cited documents and log the outcome, whether or not the page changes.
Advertise with us
The Duty Holder is free to read and funded by clearly labelled advertising. The structural rule first: advertising never buys editorial. Ad placements are labelled, sponsored content is written and fact-checked by us to the same citation bar and clearly marked, and product-flogging gets a polite no. If that works for you, we would like to hear from you.
